Sunscreen blinds from Marlow & Finch are made from a premium see-through fabric that reduces glare and heat. They offer a low maintenance, functional and practical window dressing option.
Our custom made sunscreen roller blinds are mostly used near balconies, alfresco areas or sliding doors, they are perfect for when you wish to savour a view but need to reduce the glare. You can see out of the blind during the day but sunscreen blinds do not offer 100% privacy at night, so it is best to pair these with a blockout blind or curtain if privacy is required during the evening.
All of our blinds are durable and easy to clean and come in a large variety of colours and fabric choices. Like all Marlow & Finch products sunscreen blinds are all custom-made from the finest quality parts and premium fabrics to ensure a stylish and long-lasting finish to your home.
We pride ourselves on our design and installation expertise and our team is always on hand to give the best advice on what types of blinds, fabrics and colours work best in any room within your home.
Marlow & Finch offer several exclusive sunscreen fabric ranges for our custom-made blinds. All of our blinds are manufactured in Sydney; we source only the best Australian made fabric products whenever possible and work tirelessly to maintain our exceptional standards of quality.
We stock hundreds of patterns and colours from some of Australia’s best-known manufacturers, such as Goodearl & Bailey, Louvolite, Materialised, Shaw, Mermet, Wilson & Basford Brands.
Marlow and Finch’s sunscreen blinds are laser-measured and manufactured to the exact measurements of our customers’ windows; therefore, we manufacture any size ranging from 400mm to 3200mm wide and generally up to 4000mm in drop.
Occasionally customers will have windows that are larger than those mentioned above. In those cases, our qualified installers will provide advice on how best to solve this.
Roller blinds can be measured in two ways; either to fit inside your window opening to provide a snug fit along the sides of the window and reduce the amount of light entering through, or they can be measured to hang over the front of the window to cover the opening.
Our consultants will also advise on the “roll” of the blind; front or back. However, unless there is an obvious technical reason like avoiding a door handle, in most cases it will be down to a customer’s personal aesthetic preference.
Front Roll
Front rolled means that your blinds will be rolled from the back to the front and that the drop of the fabric will be the furthest it can be from the window.
All Marlow & Finch blinds come with stainless steel chains as standard. However, the upgrade or retro-fit automation options are simple; all blinds can be replaced with a motor for easy automation so that you can command your blinds at the touch of a button. Our remote controls can manage up to 15 roller window blinds simultaneously and, generally required only a few times a year, the blind motors themselves can be charged as easily as your mobile phone.
Our extensive range of electric motors can be configured to work with any pre-existing home automation system – including popular systems like C-Bus, Control4, Philips & Fibaro.
